Here we are again, our 4th visit to this tiny harbour.  We are the 1st boat to visit here since last November*!  There are however 6 port police working throughout the winter – why? According to one of them, the only other winter inhabitants at this time of the year are about “20 old men”!  Andy & Sarah, who shared one of our visits in the sweltering heat and crowds of last summer, will be amazed to see the place looking so peaceful, or empty, depending on your point of view.  It is much nicer without all the restaurants taking up every available square foot of pavement, but on the other hand it was a bit of a challenge finding somewhere to moor with the pontoons out of commission but still taking up quay space.  It is still a lovely place and we are debating whether to stay on here or rush to share Greek Independence Day (25th) somewhere more lively.

Well after dark last night I helped a French boat moor and he was away again at dawn, so maybe we weren’t the first boat here this year, only the first mug enough to get caught by the port police!
