Lyn & Steve's Visit

Lyn & Steve arrived after a good flight to
Preveza and we set off to Meganisi where we did the bays we have already done
but by now the weather is hotter and the bays a lot busier with charter boats
etc.
Lyn did really well with the swimming and was able
to get on and off the boat fairly easily considering her recent major shoulder
operation.
Steve managed a diving day out of Nidri and while
he was doing that we went and anchored just off Skorpios Island, owned by the
Onassis family but there are rumours that Bill Gates may be buying
it. While we were sitting only yards from the little sandy beach
patroled by security a helicopter landed on the island and we then saw a couple
of small cars arrive by the edge of the beach and "Bill Gates" and some other
people got out and had a quick look around and then disappeared among the trees
again. One chap in the Gates party took photos so if there is
anything in the press look out for Gilly B in the pictures!!
We dropped Lyn & Steve back at Levkas marina
after a really good week - we now have a month on our own before
returning home for the birth of Ali's baby. During that time we are
heading South - more shortly.
