Our final day in La Cruz was spent cleaning, and getting final laundry done.
Finding out information on the places south all the way from Panama to here,
we have run into 2 great couples who have spent the last season down there
and loved it. Also with kids so we leave here with a lot more confidence as
we have validated the information we needed in order to go south and where
we have plans for.
I seem to have spent a good part of the day with the boys and their friends
all on Razor scooters flying around the areas of the marina, there has been
a good group of people here all either going north , south, or west (puddle
jump to the south pacific) so the boys have had fun.
An interesting moment was when a 14 year girl sailed into the harbor in a
Laser (yes 12 foot laser) after setting a world record by sailing from Cabo
on the Baja to PV about 300 miles in 3 1/2 days. We were astounded as a
Laser has 4 to 6 inches of free board and we are concerned about some of the
passages it shows what you can do.
The final night was spent up in La Cruz dancing and listening to music and
enjoying the time with other kid boats all heading different directions, we
have enjoyed La Cruz and it's street parties and atmosphere and with this
new Marina it is a good place to stop it has developed dramatically.

Tomorrow we head out going to Tenacatita Bay which we have heard nothing but
fantastic reports and will stay there a week at least resting and exploring
the beach and jungles this is a 130 mile run we do it overnight so expect
some blogs.
