We are ack in California, I thought I had posted some blogs but they seem to have got lost. Funny we back in the first world and due to the excessive rain we are having issues with internet connections. So sorry.
The boat has been delayed until Jan 3/4 th pick in Golifito and will arrive Late jan in Brisbane, this is actually a blessing as we were just going to store the boat in a slip in Brisbane through January and this delay saves me 3 weeks of slip fees, and fits better with our schedule.
We have been busy catching up with people here, and buying cloths and spare parts, which we are now restocked with shoes etc which we had worn out. The boys are enjoying the christmas lights, the boat parade and christams vibe around Newport which is great. One thing that shocked me was the amount of people who have come up to me and said they were reading the blog all year. While I have enjoyed writing about the experiences, and sharing the experiences, I knew of a few people mainly family reading it regularly, but on coming back here I have "humbled" to learn that many people are reading it and enjoying it. This I would like to say I really appreciate, it is moving that peole have taken the interest and I am glad people have enjoyed it.
Thanks and have a lovely Christmas we will be updating the blog over the next couple of weeks with thoughts on the year and then on the future.

Merry Christmas
