They had 2 days rain like us here, but poor Guatemala has copped it again,
and the road we went along 3 weeks ago was the one that had the mud slide to
36 people.
It does not surprise me as the country is holding on by a thread in that
mountain areas, and looking at the coverage I doubt they have got
everything, suspect getting to Lake Atitlan will be a night mare.
We saw issues on the roads here but just still water on the roads, and they
were unblocking the some drains on the mountain roads, but on Friday when we
traveling you could see the amount of water being pushed by the rivers was
huge.
The issue is the rainy season does not stop for another 2 months and then
the clean up will really start, but they have so much to do Guatemala I saw
photos of Antigua just floating and it has paved roads.
Boys a pleased to be back after a few days away, we stopped in San Salvador
for Violin lesson, and did some small shopping as we will be back up in San
Salvador on Friday staying overnight so Sean can attend a group kids violin
session early Saturday morning.
Stay tuned
