We sailed out of Hunga Lagoon, Vavau, Tonga at 11.30am on Sunday, 17th August and set off at a great pace on a reach with a good 15+ knot (true) South Easterly wind and so it lasted until we got to the South end of the Lau Island group (part of Fiji) 2 days later and had averaged 7 knots.  We went round the end of the Lau Islands during the night and by 7.45 the next morning got the Genoas poled out on either side as we squared away.  Soon after we jibed and broad reached 200 miles on the opposite tack all the way up to Savusavu.  Anchor down at 10.30am on Wednesday, 20th August after motoring across the bay and into the creek by the Town.  Total distance 460 nautical miles.
