We got off to a fast start yesterday afternoon after checking out of customs and immigration at Ao Chalong. After dropping the mooring line and motoring a short distance, we picked up a good 15 knot wind, which although only 40 degrees off the bow, combined with the smooth seas and a favorable current had us moving at up to 8.5 knots. We has a lovely, smooth sail overnight. The wind held until about 7 am this morning at which time we started motoring. We are trying to get a good angle, by motoring, to be able to fly the assym spinnaker and take advantage of the lighter wind.

So far, no issues with the boat as yet.

We are estimating an arrival into Sabang by about noon on Sunday.

All's well on Galatea.
