Finnrose

Another really hot day; a blue shade cover was put into place along the
mizzen mast ( to replace the less than nautical, pegged beach towels that
are usually used by Liz) making Finnrose look much smarter! Ken M cooked a tasty curry; the day was saved by bottles of tonic being found below the bunk in the saloon; these were added to the dregs of the Bombay Sapphire that Isy bought us at New Year to make very weak sundowners. Tomorrow will be a very different story...

A squally evening and night - winds up to 30 kts at times, so the mainsail dropped and we continued sailing with a furled genoa. There was a beautiful full moon, which once again helped night sailing.

There was a beautiful sunrise at 5a.m., but there is more cloud around. We are now sailing at around 7 kts with full genoa and mizzen, making good progress.
