position 69:15N 053:33W In Godhavn on Disko Island.
Having tired of waiting for the scanner to arrive we decided to take off and
spend two days in and around Disko Island then return to Aasiaat on Thursday.
Godhavn is quite spectacular.,massive iceburgs all around. We are anchored in
the bay and just outside is a huge berg like a twenty storey block of flats!
Just hope it doesn't fall over in the night creating a Tsunami.We went ashore
and walked around the town. Husky dogs, sledges and skidoos everywhere and out
to sea an endless parade of icebergs of all shapes and sizes.Tomorrow we plan
(fog permitting) to go to Disko Fjord.
