Ibiza
met up with Eva and her 29 ft Halberg Rassy called
Olin. She has sailed her boat from Stockholm to Poland and then through the
rivers to the Black Sea.from there thro Turkey and Greece Sicily. Sardinia and
to Ibiza. The rudder had dropped off !! the stem head was loose and I think it
would be fair to say she was pissed off with life.She is a very brave and
resourceful Lady and I hope we did a little to help her.
We only spent one night there as the marina was
very expensive. We said goodbye to Eva and sailed all of ten miles to the Island
of Formentera where we dropped anchor off the spit. We dingied ashore and met
the rich and famous who were mainly topless and shouldn't have
been!
Dinner ashore then back to Festina for the night to
sit out a strong blow from the North
