Yesterday’s weather!!

Baie Marmorata turned out to be a good anchorage and only one other yacht there which was a charter with 3 Americans on board . interestingly yesterday morning before we left i’d swum over to a small yacht which was flying a canadian flag and had a small child on board. They were from
Quebec, keep the boat near Marseille and come out to the Mediterranean for 3 months each year.

By the time we had anchored had a cup of tea the weather improved so we took the dinghy ashore and tried to walk up to one of two obelisks on the peninsula. We didn’t make them but still got good views across to Corsica. So near.

A pleasant evening on board with an interesting sky.

This morning a definite improvement in the weather so we decided to go ashore and check out the beach holiday complex and for some exercise. Definitely not somewhere we would come and stay but they have a good view.

Interesting rock formation reminding us of The Baths on Virgin Gordon and The Baltic where we sailed many years ago and there you tie up to the rocks instead of anchoring
