Very peaceful day today wind subsided, sun has tried to show its face, definitely warmer though water isn’t. I did swim this morning very peaceful and all I can say is I think the Percuil at home will feel warm by comparison or here’s hoping!!

The yacht flying the white ensign came to say Hello. No secrets he had an old St Mawes Sailing Club Handbook on board and knew all about us!! Small world. Apparently spends August in St. Mawes knows a few people there. He was very interested to hear we’d overwintered the boat in Polaris Marina. Marsala - which we would highly recommend. All jobs had been done, boat pristine when David arrived and ready to sail .

The men went ashore this morning for a walk and I stayed on board to read in the sun.

Good anchorage:-)

We had lunch on board and then motored south to this marina. Peter and David leave st 5.15am to get flight back to U.K. via Cologne. They needed to get home tomorrow and the only way apparently but 7 hours!!

So not a lot to report. At last we feeling warm, last nights anchorage very peaceful and this marina quiet. We’ve booked into a restaurant for dinner. There’s a small supermarket which we need to visit in the morning and then D and I are going to find a quiet anchorage for Friday night with hopefully a walk we can do. . We are then back here on Saturday for Ian and Tom.
