We arrived in Torrevieja on Saturday shortly after 12.30pm
My father from Iceland, one of my brothers and two
of his children were here to welcome us.
Alex and Sam coped well with the trip from Ibiza.
Unfortunately it was motoring again most of the
time. We wonder why we bought a sailing yacht rather than a motor boat as
we seem to spend most of our time motoring.
We are staying at Club Nautico. It is a great
sailing club. People are friendly, beer is cheap and food is better than
on the touristy streets, even a swimming pool even though it is a bit small –
can’t have everything..
Steve has now gone back to the UK for a few days as the tenants
have moved out of our house and we need to know what sort of state it is in.
I am spending the time to give Island Kea a bit of a ‘spring
clean’.
It is very hot here and I am most grateful for the
aircon.
