It is two o'clock in the afternoon and the sun has come out in a clearing sky. Most days have been overcast with occasional sun shine. Having the sun for company brightens my day enormously. The sea, although quite rough today in the strong breeze from the N/E, looks beautiful. Large rolling, white-capped waves overtake Luna Quest with ease on a massive swell from the same direction, all of us racing to Antigua. The water is a lovely blue colour with a touch of light blue/green at the top of some climbing waves. I estimate that they run at about 15 knots, twice the speed of Luna Quest, perhaps a little more.

I have rigged the film camera up on the pushpit and hope that my attempt will deliver some entertaining result in the family drawing room!
