Eowyn is presently at anchor in Prickly Bay, Grenada.

We continued to enjoy our diving in Carriacou with the enthusiastic Connie from Arawak Divers. It was relief for Chris that she could dive again after being laid up for so long with Chikungunya. There was plenty of socialisng too as Badger's Sett and Oriole were in the bay with us. We celebrated the last day of the lobster season with a great lobster pizza at the Lazy Turtle and early the next morning set off for the 40 mile passage to Prickly Bay.

After some lively seas and force 5 Easterly winds, or usual anchor spot next Essex Girl was waiting for us.

There were several OCC yachts here too including Casa Tu and Odyssyeus

After a shopping trip to replenish our depleted fresh goods, we signed up for some diving .with Scubatech, now run by Eveline Verdier. Sunday saw 2 great dives and in the next few days we managed 6 more - Chris is a happy bunny!

On Monday we took time off to complete an historical tour of the island with Clement Baptiste. Although we have completed many tours before, this had a different perspective and much to Chris's delight included a trip to the new Jouvay chocolate factory, complete with sampling

Wednesday evening was time for the turtle watch and after a 2 hour taxi ride, we arrived at the north of Grenada and were privileged to see 4 magnificent leatherback turtles returning to the place where they were themselves hatched to lay their eggs

On Friday we were surprised by Jochen Lenz knocking on the hull in a floating doughnut, celebrating Sabine's birthday with rather too much beer. It would have been rude not to join in so we bimbled around the bay for an hour or so helping them consume the drinks.

We met them again on Saturday, when we bussed up to Victoria for our first outing with the Grenada Hash House Harriers. The course was rough and hill and lasted about 90 minutes, but it was great fun and we managed to complete it without too much injury.

On Monday, we headed to Le Phare Bleu to start our layup procedures ready to haul on the 14th and fly home on the 18th
