Eowyn

Éowyn is still at anchor in Prickly bay, Grenada but we are about to leave!

Our socialising mixed with maintenance continued and we have mainly eaten out with friends or as their guests.

On Monday, Tim & Val Arnold picked us up for a great evening of chat and food at the Victory Bar, Port Louis. Hopefully Tim will be able to sail on Eowyn , perhaps later this year or next.

On Tuesday we met Carol & Mike Gorvett for dinner at the University club - an excellent choice. after dinner we tried the beer at the new and very successful micro brewery in Lanse Epines Road. This was heaving and it was quite bizarre to be drinking excellent English style ales and cider in this tropical location.

Last night we were picked up by Sabine & Polly and had a very convivial evening with them with Jochen and their visitors at their apartment. They have great sea views over the south of Grenada and combined with an excellent meal, we retired exhausted but happy onboard Eowyn

We cleared out this morning and are about to set sail for Dragon bay before making our way North to Martinique to replace our failing domestic batteries
