We arrived in Bundaberg at 7.0am on Tuesday morning, just 5 days and 1 hour from Noumea. We had pretty good winds overnight so got the sails up. We caught up with KatieM II on Monday afternoon and loaned them 20 litres of diesel as they were a bit short. We motored alongside each other and Martin threw across a line which Susan attached to the jerry can and then dropped the diesel can over the side.

The clearing in process to Australia is a bit of a pain and I had to accept a bit of a lecture for having rather a lot of alcohol on board – we only had 26 litres of spirits, 10 litres of wine, 4 of port and 15 litres of beer!! It was only a lecture and no duty charges so it wasn’t a problem. We had a bit of a celebration last night and are now in town getting internet & phone sorted out.
