We left Beaulieu on Thursday morning en route for Nice.

VilleFrance, just round the headland from Beaulieu, was full and the Nice marina, located in the old harbour of Nice, “had two sailing boats already on the waiting list for places and didn’t think there would be a space for us”.  So we carried on along the beautiful long beach at Nice, round the Nice airport runways and into the second marina at Nice.  This is actually at Saint Laurent du Var but is only one or two miles from the airport.

Elizabeth is flying out of Nice next Monday so we are hoping to be able to extend our stay at this marina by a few days
