Day 7 - Fish for lunch

So the big news today is that Arran caught a fish first thing.  8-10kg of Dorado.  Bait was a flying fish that had landed on deck overnight, and the line had only been out less than an hour.  Of course the line struck just as we were unfurling the kite, so not ideal timing!  Dorado fillet for lunch - baked in foil with herbs / veg.

Also Tony wanted to check that the propeller had feathered properly, and got some great footage of the hull/prop of the boat with a GoPro on a stick.  This has lead to a minor 'scrapheap challenge' to see best way of getting underwater dolphin footage.  We'll see if that comes to anything (haven't seen dolphins for a few days...)

We ticked over the 2/3rds of the way to go mark this morning.  Obviously we've come a long way south, and hopefully after tomorrow most of our miles will be directly towards St Lucia.
