Our target this time is the German ship Ingrid Horn that sank after a collision in dense fog 1917. Since this was the end of WW-1 Ingrid Horn was bound for the southern exit of the Stockholm archipelago to join a German convoy heading home under protection from accompanying warships.
Being short of kerosene the navlights were not lit and the Swedish ship Bergvik didn´t see her through the fog and ran the bow into the side of Ingrid Horn.
The consequence was a several meters big whole on the side of the hull that rapidly brought Ingrid Horn down.Only one crewmember of seventeen survived.
