I picked my old highschool friends John and Hans up in Stavsnäs which is one of the gateways to the Stockholm archipelago. We travelled a couple of hours out to Sandhamn which is the center for sailing activity on the eastcoast of Sweden and could perhaps be called the "Cowes or Newport" of Sweden.

On the picture Dora Mac is tied up just in front of the Clubhouse of the Royal Swedish Sailingclub (KSSS). Now completely secluded in summertime it will be totally crowded and with regular sailingraces organised.

After a drink onboard we headed for dinner to the traditional restaurant that opened a couple of hundred years ago.
