Day/night 2 at sea was mainly enjoyable allthough it included the passage of Rotterdam fortunately done in daylight.

You will find the rules for passage of this heavily trafficated area in Reed`s Nautical Almanac. Being the centre for comerce in central Europe loads of cargoships enter/depart this port 24/7. Rules for small ships passage are strict having a specified route between named bouys(MV-W and MV-N) and before passage Maas Traffic centre must be contacted on VHF Ch03. 

The skyline of Rotterdam as seen from the sea is hardly any contribution for mankind to be proud of. As a monument of todays supercomercialism it just looks awful.
