Early morning and taxi to the Greek coastguard where we finally got our DEKPA. Departed Rhodes at 11 and headed for Khalki (45Nm) which proved to be a beautiful little neighbour to Rhodes completely off the beaten track. We anchored in the bay, took our dinghy ashore and had a very good seafood dinner at the taverna by the shoreline. The crew on the only neighbour boat in the bay joined us for dinner and they were a very nice British couple in the early start of a circumnavigation.
