Sailing from the North Frisian Islands heading for Skagen, was initially a
very nice sail with calm seas and a very comfortable beam reach. This was
the twelth time I crossed the North Sea and the fourth time without any
winds of galeforce. The North Sea certainly deserves all respect and can be
a very tough sail with it´s combination of shallow waters, strong
tides, risk of fog,and frequent depressions delivered from the North
Atlantic.
