The overnight sail to reach Musket Cove was a real nice trip.Perfect winds
and a fullmoon in zenith. We approached the island Malolo LaiLai some hours
after sunrise, and were advised to anchor stern to in the marina. We are
currently on a bow anchor, stern to land and on shorepower. What a luxury!
Musket Cove and the Mamanuca islands are very different compared to
eastern and southern Fiji, with lot's of yachts (many waiting for a weather
window to head for NZ),developed tourism with
divecenters, surfing, resorts, restaurants and even a well sorted foodshop.
If other parts of Fiji are still remote,in this part the famous
globilisation has invaded with full strength.
