Dear All

Well here we are 1/3 across, our first full 24 hours run was 190 miles all under engine. Our Yanmar engine have so far not missed a beat and have been going continuously for thirty hours.
The sea is smooth with just a long lazy Atlantic swell.  we have now crossed the continental shelf and have 4,000 meters of water below our keels.
I am about to go on watch, midnight to four am, the night sky is magnificent with every star clear and bright.

Today has been really hot and we must beware of the heat and sun whilst on deck. Just before I turned in earlier this evening I showered, our shower is in the front of our hull and has a large side window which I opened to let a draught in whilst showering, the sea as I said is slight.
After getting undressed and ready to wash a splash occurred and a small amount of sea water came in, I went to close the window and about level with my chest two meters away were a pair of Dolphins!
I couldn't make that up if I tried.

Goodnight!

Derek & Lynn.
