36:09.44N 05:21.27W So, how do you sail a journey of some 2000 NM (nautical miles)?  The answer of course is ‘1 NM at a time’.  The green pin has moved at last, albeit about 2 NM, and the big journey has started with a fond farewell to Marina Bay and many good wishes from people we’ve come to know over the last few months.  Then a brief stop for fuel and a short play out in the bay to test the engine before making for La Linea, across the border in Spain, to clear Customs.  An early start tomorrow before daylight and we hope to head out of the Straits on a light easterly wind, making for Barbate.  The photos show the beautiful evening in La Linea and a last view of the Rock in daylight, plus Mira all set to go.
