Sunday 20^th – nothing we can do because everything is shut so it’s time to go up the Rock and look at the view from there.  I thought the legendary apes would be in a cage but it’s their space at the top and they roam freely and watch the visitors looking at them. 

Monday - still beautiful weather and it would be lovely if we had plenty of time, but it’s all getting very frustrating as the gearbox is proving difficult, nigh impossible, to remove.  An engineer has been today and confirmed he can fix it if Gordon can get it out but it seems the boat was put together around it.  We’re not prepared to go out into the Atlantic until it’s sorted so the clock is ticking ….
