Gordon and Catherine

37:35.80N 00:58.79W A long hard day - wind on the nose and a strong current pushing us sideways. At times there is 40 degrees between our heading and our course over the ground. We manage to keep a mainsail driving to help but it's engine all the way. All very tiring and we enter the marina with the engine in reverse to counteract wind and current. Luckily there is plenty of room and the marineiro (berthing man) puts us alongside rather than the usual stern-to. As Gordon said afterwards, there was only one chance at parking her, and he did his usual excellent job.
