Capare Island
Wedensday 20/1

After some morning shopping we left Coron town, with our new crew member Janine, a fresh lawyer from NY on board, Our plan was to sail to Apo Reef, about 50 NM north of Busuanga Island. It was a windy morning so we hugged the west coast of Busuanga Island to get some shelter from the wind.
We had a nice sail with just Genoa 2 out. Atlunch time the wind had calmed and we anchored in a bay , full of buoys for lunch. We figured out that the buoys was a pearl mussel farm.
While Kenneth took to the Galley the rest of us hit the water and found a fantastic reef, full of bautiful coral and fishes.
After lunch we moved on to Capare Island, where we anchored so we could enjoy the sun setting in the South China Sea. After a nice dinner we finished off the day with a game of Mexican Train.
Lars and crew.
