9C, Alaskan summer. The rain hs given us a break. We sailing towards the glacier. As they appear in the distance, the boat goes quiet. Classical music softly fills the air.
In silence we absorb the majesty of these mountains and glaciers. The power of nature gives us a good perspective of our impotence. But even so we managed to impact the planet.
Thoughts take me back to our Antarctica voyage in 2012. My heart warms with joy of being able to experience these moments.
We reached Lamplugh glacier.
