Friday 29/4
We gladly left the hysterical area of the coming G7 summit meeting at 07.00 in the morning.
The wind had changed as predicted and we had 70 NM to Omaezaki. This turned out to be no problem as we were running with the wind that gusted up to 50 knots at times. All the sail we needed was a partly furled No2 genua. Averaging 8 knots, with 13 knots surfs.
A great sailing day to blow away the bad taste of the previous 2 days.
We found a little marina when we arrived. The drawback was that it was a long walk to anywhere. We went out for dinner and had to walk a loong way.
All is well.
Lars, Uno, Viola and Johan.
