Sumoto

Tuesday 19/4

We left Tannowa on Tuesday morning with no wind. Our goal for the day was Sumoto on Awaji Shima. We had read about a nice Onsen there that we wanted to visit.
When we arrived at the pontoon in Sumoto, we were approached by the Customs even before we had turned the engine off. After the usual 3 documents were filled in they were happily on their way. To be raplaced by the harbour master that charged me the great sum of 310 Yen for one nights stay (2£). We had spotted an castle like building on top of a mountain near the town. When we told the Harbour master he said it was impossible to walk up there. It was to steep.
Off we went and soon found a track up to the top. No problem for Swedish Vikings.
On the top we decided to go down on the other side to find the Onsen we came there for.
When we found it, it was in a big hotel and the cost was to high for us.
We walked back along the coast and later had a very nice dinner on a restaurant.
