Another mixed 24 hour passage with light winds during the day building
during the evening and through the night. We continue to make good time with
the cruising chute during daylight hours and the main and Yankee wing on
wing during the night. The chute forces us further south than we would like
and the main and Yankee makes for a VERY rolly night with sleep hard to come
by. Tough on both the boat and the crew! It is likely that we will have to
make some ground to the north west in the next couple of days if we are to
retain a decent wind angle for the final run into the islands.
We are still too far out to predict a reasonably accurate ETA but it looks
as though we are on for a very fast passage.
Fingers crossed!!!!!
