The sun was not even above the horizon when we left Gloucester this morning. There was just enough light to spot the lobster pots and then the sun came up with a red blaze. Sunny day all along, but the wind changed from WNW with still some sailing to more of a Northerly and motor sailing, thereby parking itself right on the nose. Most of the day was spent on the lookout for lobster pots, while we tried to stay warm. The odd dolphin was spotted but none of them played on Cookie's bow.

We had the deadline of the tide in the St. Georges river to catch so we had to keep the speed up once more. Wonderful to see some evergreens and other trees around us, what a difference from the warm weather shrub of only a few weeks ago!

Wonderful to be tied up to the dock and to be stationary. Tomorrow we will start to switch into refit mode. Tonight we will relax, after Cookie has had her well deserved hose-down (after all - we got a beer too!).

Well done Cookie!!
