Stage 4, the last part of our Round the world flight with HB-PON, back to
the starting point in Switzerland has started.

Here we go again........

Manfred from Sydney Australia and Rolf Frieden have, after two month back at
work, joined up again in Orlando Florida on Friday the 26th of June to continue
and conclude together our memorable Round World Flight back to La Cote
Airfield in western Switzerland.

We spent part of Saturday the 27th. to reinstall our 100 Gallon Ferry tank, and
verify all the maintenance work, Bill Turely’s  Aircraft Engineering and his staff made
to Comanche HB-PON during our absence.

Sunday morning, a test flight was made with a few landings at Bartow, and later
a short visit to Lakeland, the place of the famous "Sun and Fun Air venture", which
takes place every year in spring.

After having returned to Bartow, the time had come, to load up the aircraft with
all the countless items we left, and those we had both had returned with from
Australia respectively from Switzerland.
Again, having completed this task, we realized, that trying to stow another
toothbrush, this could pose a real problem...............

Later on Sunday afternoon, we paid a visit to the nearby Antique Aircraft
Museum “Fantasy of Flight” with is famous greatly restored old aircraft.

Today Monday morning, we departed as planned the Orlando area IFR in
northerly direction.
Since recent days, Southern Florida has been experiencing intermittent strong
Thunderstorms all over.

The challenge was to circumnavigate large build up’s on climb out, and then to
cross a cold front. Glad we have a well working Storm scope on board

An hour and a half into the flight, we broke out of clouds and then continued in
good weather to our Destination Cincinnati Ohio, some 700 miles north.

Tomorrow Tuesday, we fly on to Claremont OH and then to Dayton Wright
brothers KMGY, just a short distance away in northerly direction.
