27 May- More passage miles – could summer have arrived?

Arrive wharf nr Dieupentale 1705, 20nm, 16 locks

Warm sun all day – hooray

Departed straight into a series of locks – so Jane went by Brompton. After a cold start changed into shorts and t shirts – though summer had arrived (we were wrong!). Anyway, rest of day in sunshine Moored up on small quay adjacent to nice village, cycled there and on to Grisolles where we were thinking of a stop – glad we stopped early. Boat left on quay for winter was Con Brio – small world (name of my previous Super Seal.) Evening beer in cockpit in sun. Much joy.
