39:14.0N 20:08.50E Thursday 28 Friday 29 August South to safe anchorage at Petriti for night, then on to Lakka (on Paxos)to await Astra and delivery of Julie Thursday 28 Depart NAOKC (Corfu) 1400 Arrive Petriti 1630 11nm M2.5. Peaceful morning, doing more boat bits after hasty exit from stifling Gouvia Marina. Should have mentioned Giro takeaway cu!Skip went to get takeaway on Ang`s last night. Got rather manky Giro (pitabread, lamb, sauces and chips), to find a nicer takeaway further along street with big Qs. Will try this one next year Forecast gives afternoon winds NWf3, building to 5 & 6. Looking forward to a great sail. But instead have SSEf2 so have to motor all the way. NNW breeze arrives 1800. No problem, anchored well in near beach in 10ft of excellent holding mud. Paddle duck ashore to stretch legs code for have a beer). Slight swell builds and some rolling Friday 29 Depart Petriti 1000 Arrive Lakka Inlet (on N end of Paxos) 1530 20nm M3.5 S2 duck ashore for bread. Set off with slight NW N breeze, but soon fades. Some WNW breeze as cross channel between S Corfu and Paxos, but again fades. Much rolling asn big fetch out to E here (not in lee of Corfu). Loads of space in Lakka inlet. Lots of Brits. Italians have now all gone back home, to school and work, and no flotillas as they are nearer bases for weekend changeovers. Anchor in 12ft. Quick run ashore. Use oboard. Running sweetly now – possibly due to fresh petrol. Astra rolls across and in. Much swimming between boats, and cuppas.
