We are at the end of the road for this season . Lovely reach along the coast this morning and then a careful motor along the estuary being careful not to get ahead of the tide because the upper reaches are very shallow . Through the new lifting bridge just as a squall hit us and into our mooring at Riverside Drive Marina .

So the achievement is immense . Some of it singlehanded . All of it my decision .

Highlights perhaps hoving to under Tahiti in force 8 and waiting for the wind to enter Tahiti or perhaps just ability to do it ; who knows but we are here . As Keith Evans once said after a crossing of Biscay 'if you sick from here it's not sea sickness '
