Resent this message today which was originally sent on 29 October but did not seem to update.

This morning (11:20 local time) sees Ceilidh 90 NM West of Malta with a WNW F4-5 which is making it difficult for us to make our planned track of 265M, we are currently making 250M.
While the sailing conditions are pleasant and sunny, we still have to contend with a swell running from the West which is slowing our progress.
We mainly have had 1 reef in the main and full genoa hoisted, since 09:00 we are motor sailing as we have crew arriving today in Malta ( KP & Jenney)and Neil has a flight home tomorrow morning to catch.
Currently our eta looks like 02:00 on Tuesday morning.
The fridge and the autohelm both decided to pack up this morning so we are hand steering only until we can get some assistance at Malta.
The generator has been working really well with a runtime of around 6hrs in every 24hrs so there have been no power management issues.
Just a reminder to anyone sending email, we cannot receive photos or attachments but jokes and anecdotes are fine!
Looking forward to some R&R for the next 2 days.
Dave
