The chandler in Klaipeda did not dissapoint. By lunchtime Graham had fixed our anchor light which refused to switch off automatically at day break and replaced our AIS aerial which has been dodgy since Iceland and completely gave up the ghost on route to Klaipeda. A few other minor bits sorted and we were on our way by early evening and enjoying a very gentle sail west in light south westerlies and virtually no swell. Forecast for this week is all good. Its nearly 400nM to Aeroe and may well take us 4 days but then its only 20 odd miles to entrance to Kiel canal which we are both excited about.

Got a mail from Andrew and hes fine and settled and has met what sounds like a very nervous groom. The rituals leading up to and during the ceremony sound bizarre and def drawn out, if I'd had to go through it all think I would have backed out half way through! sorry G!
