We have spent most of today marvelling at the most fantastic and dramatic coast line set against snow capped peaks and glaciers, kept relatively close inshore, sailing very relaxed in modest W /SW winds and 1m swell. Happened across a small fishing fleet this morning when we had rods out ourselves, they had a laugh and when we jestured nothing caught they threw us 4 beautiful fish, no idea what they are but the one we cooked was delicious and others are gutted and in freezer. They also told us to keep a sharp lookout as there was some low density ice off SE of Iceland, lumps drifting free from small glaciers. Not sure if we will pick any up on radar but it is on and tuned for small floating stuff as best we can.
