We think we can just about make out the  hotel we used to stay at in GAF days, ugh. Left mid morning and now about 23nM down track, heading for the Solent. Winds are light from SW so its very gentle tacking. Intend keeping to Dutch, Belgium and French coasts to Dover Strait and then cross to UK hopefully with a wind with plenty of west in it. Approaching the busy entrance to Rotterdam and can already see a wall of ships ahead, will take the recommended small boat crossing unless we are told different when we call in but whatever, it will be daylight and all of us will be on look out duty.
