Dan ni wedi bod yn Harbwr Dundas rwan ers 5 diwrnod, yn aros i'r rhew doddi i'r Gorllewin ac agor un o'r llwybrau i ni. Heddiw mae pobman ar gau ond bydd y storm a gawsom neithiwr o'r Gogledd-Ddwyrain yn gymorth i dorri drwy'r rhew rhyw gymaint. Er ein bod yn falch iawn o fod yng nghysgod Harbwr Dundas, roedd y gwynt yn 54 knot yma - bron fel corwynt. Wnawn ni hwylio ymhellach i'r Gorllewin heddiw, tua 90 milltir i Harbwr Graham. Wedyn byddwn mewn lleoliad da iawn i fanteisio ar unrhyw lwybr fydd ar agor i ni. Mae'r criw i gyd yn cadw'n iawn ond braidd yn flinedig ar ol y storm neithiwr, ac mae digonedd o fwyd a thanwydd yn dal gennym. Yr unig argyfwng ydy'r prinder o fisgedi 'digestive'!

We have been in Dundas Harbour now for 5 days waiting for the ice to melt further West to open up one of the passages for us. Today everything remains blocked still but the storm we had last night from the Northeast will have helped to break things up a bit. Although we were very pleased to be in the shelter of Dundas Harbour we still had 54 knots of wind in here. Another yacht reported over 60 knots – that’s hurricane strength! We plan to push on West about another 90 miles today to Graham Harbour where we will be well placed to take advantage of any route which opens up. The crew are all well but a little tired after the storm last night, and we still have plenty of diesel and supplies. The only crisis we have is a shortage of chocolate digestives on board!
