We finally arrived in NUUK, Greenland yesterday at midday. The distance from Bantry Bay, about 2000 miles took us 14 days exactly, with a stopover for 24 hours to fix the engine. So Leg 2 is completed, a distance of about 2240 miles from our home port in Wales, Aberdyfi.

We had mixed weather on this trip with a few epics along the way, but it’s time now to relax, enjoy Greenland and the very friendly people here. My crew of Cath and Phil (also from Aberdyfi) arrive on 21 July. We then have Leg 3 across Baffin Bay/Davis Strait to Pond Inlet, Canada.

My plan is now to spend a couple of weeks cruising some of the beautiful fjords around Nuuk.
