It's happened!!! we're off !!
And, we're.............erm.last
Bobbin around outside Plymouth harbour with no
wind, just 2 other boats for company, but we're not unduly worried, we're taking
it as an opportunity to do nothing in particular. Hopefully some friends and
family will be reading this to keep track of our progress but to be honest you
could borrow a rowing boat and come out to see us at the minute.. I was asked
yesterday evening by a good friend (and beer supplier in a sunny garden) to post
a picture of 12000 miles offshore, If it was actually possible to get that far
offshore I feel it would probably take us till Christmas! However we'll see what
we can do.
Still, all's well with the world and it's not too
rough, so Robert's not suffering unduly.
Take care everyone, and if the wind finally picks
up, we'll be back at the end of the month (just not sure which one
!!)
To my little friend mentioned above, keep some cold
one's in the fridge !!
