Arthur and George arrived in Martinique having transferred flight and got a local puddle jumper from St Lucia, Castries to Fort de France the capital city of Martinique. All safe and well - now for some intensive relaxing and sun and sleeping. We stayed the first two nights in our lodgings as Carango was out of the water having new antifouling and a change of propeller seals and transmission oil.

On 24th December we relaunched and made the crossing back South to St Lucia - where we spent a very happy Christmas at the strangely named Body Hotel - their promise ‘give us your body for a week and we’ll give you your mind back’…….. we had the all night free drinks deal - it was a gloriously luxurious place with a private beach, pools and most things one could imagine.
