Well we set off to do a very big leg to BOSA but in the event ran into strong storm beaufort 7 [rather more than forecast] and decided to run for our closer alternate of Oristano bay. After much thrashing and a rather rough passage we cleared into the bay and in the far eastern end found calmer water. Crew not impressed! We motored into Porto Oristano and found a very dull commercial port with no one answering any radio call so we anchored off a small village of Torre Grande and after calling ourselves we dinghies ashore to find a rathe ravager touristy resort with a very trashy market selling tatt. We had a beer and glass of wine and found an internet bar. Various communications completed.
