It turns out that on the North coast of this Island there is 2km [stories we heard varies between 7km and 2km] fixed net for the rather ghastly slaughter of tuna fish and there is a massive to factory. So we bicycled to the North ed of the island having done the extreme South already.

I’m happy to say the the factory we saw looked redundant and this was one of the fine old tuna boats - some rowing machine I guess it must weigh several tons.

The sea in the narrow channel between the isoletta and the old tuna factory was wild but very beautiful - we decided that when we depart tomorrow we will leave the isolate to port!
