We made it! Although it is not the longest leg or the widest ocean somehow it seems that what we have done is more than ever satisfactory.

We crossed the major mar to the Indian ocean in 14 days and one hour. All estimates and the World ARC figures say between 15 and 18 days - we beat all those forecasts and the WARC staff were onto just in time before we arrived. In short we had an amazing trade wind crossing with 20 - 30 lots South Easterly winds for almost every day. We chose to set off a day before the schedule and that proved to be admissive and very good decision as we had better wind.

We are safe and sound over one of the most savage oceans behind us and the team and the yacht have preformed extremely well. Now we will rest here for some days before Vicky comes out to join us for the sail to Île de la Reunion next week. I will be so excited and happy to see her again.
